Thorne Brothers at Lilac Golf Course
The golf course that began with Alec and Sam Lilac in 1957 has finally come full circle and has recently been purchased by another set of brothers, Will and Daniel Thorne. The brothers have bitten off a huge bite, but have some terrific ideas to build the course and clubhouse into a great golf getaway.
The
course has been through a lot, including a name change (it was Wyndridge
Oaks for a short while), but both Daniel and William are striving to
bring it to it's full potential while still honoring it's designers.
The choice to put Lilac back in the golf course name is just one way
that they plan to keep the Lilac's memory alive.
